Runcorn, UK/ Aktau, ROK (November 27th 2019) Engenda Group (UK) and Vaughan Engineering O&G (ROK) today announce the formation of a joint venture entity between the two parties namely VEnKaz (JV) LLP to be based in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
The newly formed JV LLP will build on the experiences of Vaughan Engineering within the Oil & Gas, Petro/Argo-Chemical, sector in Kazakhstan by adding specialised design and consultancy services from Engenda Group in the UK along with making available manufacturing services, E/I design and project provision, Column Turnaround services via a Category 1 project license.
Geoff Vaughan comments “We at VEOG are very excited about this JV and the opportunities that it brings. With much of Engenda’s engineer work being carried out in the UK, such as 3D & 4D modelling, we can keep our costs down. But not wanting to miss out on a great opportunity, we have agreed to set up a graduate program and training for VE Engineers to give continuous improvement to the VE team, more over continuing to provide value for money to our clients.”
Lee Foundation, “This acquisition with Vaughan Engineering will provide opportunities in a region that Engenda has not operated in to date. Vaughan Engineering has built a strong reputation in the region over the last 10 years and provides the JV with all the necessary licences to execute design and construct works. It is envisaged that Engenda will provide a local in country project manager to liaise with the local teams and coordinate works delivered from our design and fabrication businesses in the UK.”
